What Style Levers

does your bike have?

It is EXTREMELY Important that I know what kind of levers your bike has so I can fill your order with lever covers that fit properly. I hand make each set so it is not like I am looking up a part number. Some bikes of the same year, make and model (such as Yamaha V Star) could have either type of lever.

Many times customers are unsure of what kind of lever covers to order. Tapered?     Non-Tapered?

Whats that mean?

This page should help eliminate any confusion.

The Bikes shown below are just a sampling to illustrate the difference between TAPERED and NON-TAPERED LEVERS. With a few exceptions my Tapered style lever covers will fit any bike with Tapered Levers and My Non-Tapered Lever Covers will fit any bike with Non-Tapered Levers.

Most 82 and up Harley-Davidson, Late Model Indian Motorcycles and Some Imports have what I call Tapered levers. They are wider at the pivot end then at the ball end. See pictures below: The large picture is the brake lever of a Harley-Davidson FLHTC ElectraGlide.

Pre-82 and Most Imports have what I call Non-Tapered Levers

These are very common and pretty much the same size for

many different makes and models of motorcycles.

See Pictures Below, the first one has a leather cover installed

but you can still see the basic shape of the lever:
