Born-Again Biker?Yes it's True JESUS LOVES BIKERS! "Therefore If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold,all things have become new" -2 Corinthians 5:17 Yep, you guessed it, I am a biker!, I wear a leather jacket, I have tattoos, and I ride a Harley, but that is pretty much where the similarity ends! I used to do a lot of other things that went along with the "Biker Lifestyle", Drinking, Using Drugs, Cussing, Fighting, etc. BUT IN JANUARY, 1991 SOMETHING INCREDIBLE HAPPENED TO ME, I GAVE MY HEART TO JESUS CHRIST AND HE CHANGED MY LIFE! Oh, I still love to ride! but since Jesus came in, Instead of drinking booze, I drink of the LIVING WATER. Instead of cussing and fighting, I am preaching and ministering. Instead of using drugs, I use the gifts the God gave me to help other people. THIS is what YOU are looking for! After I came to Jesus Christ for Salvation, I learned a very surprising thing. Jesus is exactly what Bikers are looking for! What do I mean by that? Bikers look for true "brotherhood", I have seen bikers greet each other with and embrace, it means something to have a "brother" in this life. But what happens when things are not going so good. Can you count on your "brothers" 100%? We all like to think that we can, but with out the common ground of Jesus Christ, we really cannot do it. We are more likely to forget about our "brothers" when it comes to our own personal gain. But when you become a Christian you gain true brothers, and friends, who will stick with you through thick and thin. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY...JESUS IS A FRIEND WHO WILL STICK CLOSER THAN A BROTHER! If you are bound by sin, and feel hopeless, let me tell you there is HOPE. His Name is JESUS CHRIST. He offers you eternal life, all you have to do is ask Him for it. A lot of bikers that I have met talk a about being "free"...I have found that true freedom comes from Christ. DO YOU WANT TRUE FREEDOM? DO YOU WANT ETERNAL LIFE? IT IS AS SIMPLE AS ASKING JESUS FOR IT! BUT YOU HAVE TO MEAN IT. HERES HOW. PRAY TO GOD IN YOUR OWN WORDS, JUST TALK! HE WILL HEAR YOU!! 1. ADMIT you are a sinner, and that only Jesus can save you. (Romans 3:23) 2. REPENT: Turn away from you sin and submit to God (Luke 13:5) 3. BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed his blood to pay the price for your sins, and He arose again. (Romans 10:9) 4. ASK God to save you. (Romans 10:13) 5.Ask Jesus Christ to be the LORD (take control) of your life. (Romans 12:1-2.) That's all there is to it, man. You don't even have to get a haircut or buy a 3-piece suit to get saved! Jesus came to change your heart, not your shirt! When you come to him in true REPENTANCE WILL SAVE YOU.
